Responsibilities
* Lead a team overnight to deliver replenishment activities across the store, while prioritising deliveries, organising the warehouse and replenishing shelves.
* Occasionally run a full store operation overnight, taking responsibility for the full shift and the safety and wellbeing of colleagues in store.
* Ensure standards are maintained so the store is ready to serve customers in the morning.
* Manage people, including performance and capability, conducting disciplinaries and ensuring scheduling and pay accuracy.
* Provide brilliant customer service and coach a team to do the same.
* Lead operations and be comfortable working alone in the absence of more senior management.
* Demonstrate resilience to the mental and physical demands of nightshift work and create a safe, healthy environment for the team.
* Experience of leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment and driving performance to keep operations running smoothly.
* Experience delivering and monitoring KPIs or other performance indicators.
* Ability to manage employee relations issues, including disciplinary and absence matters.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous line management responsibilities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
* Desirable: experience working night shifts in a high-volume, operational environment with a focus on safety and team support during out-of-hours trading.
