VP OF REVENUE CYCLE POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Vice President of Revenue Cycle provides leadership, management and direction to the revenue cycle function, this includes recommendations, development and updating strategic long-range plans to support the organization's Vision and goals. Also, in collaboration with other administrative managers/directors in the organization, this role develops and implements specific programs, products and services related to the revenue cycle.
VP OF REVENUE CYCLE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. The Vice President of Revenue Cycle coordinates with senior management and managers/supervisors to ensure revenue cycle problems are resolved and analyzes and recommends changes in organizational systems, policies and procedures and ensures their successful implementation
2. Oversees all Revenue Cycle functions to assure proper handling and directs billing activities to ensure timely billing and reimbursement for all current OCC service lines including but not limited to governmental and private payors, third-party liability, workers comp and ASC's, denial management, and patient collections
3. Oversees office/surgical coding to ensure all services are coded accurately. Provides feedback to providers and develops auditing and training initiatives
4. Assures the integrity and stability of revenue and billing data and directs complex business decision-making for operations
5. Executes the strategic direction of the RCM work teams and/or service lines, incorporating an awareness of the internal and external environment
6. Provides monthly reporting on practice revenue cycle performance to all key leaders, including clinic leaders, physician service line leaders, and operations leaders
7. Contributes to the compliance, development, and updating of company and department standard operation policies and procedures
8. Initiates, leads, and facilitates institutional workgroups or complex projects
9. Manages and prioritizes limited resources across multi-disciplinary, multi-site teams to maximize efficiency.
10. Assists in payor contract analysis and negotiations, identifying areas of opportunity that will drive revenue growth
11. Spearheads change and leads the RCM team in implementation
12. Handles ambiguous situations in a productive and professional manner and successfully leads others through such situations
13. Communicates effectively across departments to accomplish strategic and operational goals
14. Develop, redesign, and monitor key performance indicators, including payer mix, A/R, collection rates, adjustments, bad debt write-off, estimated collections, appeal success rates, and other requested parameters
15. Facilitates development of departmental mission, goals, policies, procedures, budget, and work standards for Revenue Cycle departments. Also Reviews departments' performance and ensures compliance, accreditation, legal and other regulatory requirements. Analyzes and assesses productivity of staff in regard to maintenance of high standards of quality patient care
16. Collects/analyzes data, prepares and presents information/statistics for administrative and regulatory purposes Gathers information and data as necessary to assess on-going revenue cycle key indicators
17. Coordinate Revenue Cycle activities with clinical and operational stakeholders across the company
18. Responsible for leadership and supervision of Revenue Cycle departments. Will provide assistance in problem solving, staffing and budget issues in regard to their operational needs
VP OF REVENUE CYCLE PAY & BENEFITS:
The pay range for this position is $150k to $200k annualized

Requirements
VP OF REVENUE CYCLE REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
27. Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management or Business Administration
28. Minimum 10 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management (Orthopedic surgery preferred)
29. Minimum 5 years in a manager position
30. Experience with CBO startup
31. Strong ability to understand revenue cycle key performance indicators and make key decisions based on data analysis.
32. Knowledge of credentialing
33. Strong customer service and communication skills to effectively partner with physicians, patients, company leaders, and team members
34. Ability to work independently and efficiently
35. Strong ability to multi-task and handle stressful situations
36. Ability to organize and prioritize
VP OF REVENUE CYCLE DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
37. Master’s degree in Healthcare Management or Business Administration
38. Experience in large multi-specialty practices
39. Experience with payor contracts and payor negotiations
40. Allscripts & Veradigm experience

47. Hours of business are Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Must be able to work early, late and long hours, as needed, to meet the essential functions of the job
