Lead Internal Quality Assurer – role overview
The Alliance provides early years qualifications and apprenticeships across England. We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate Lead Internal Quality Assurers who can provide detailed, robust feedback to support our assessors to develop their skills and knowledge. Two new Lead Internal Quality Assurers will be appointed — one to support our apprenticeship programme and one to support our stand-alone qualification training.

Main Duties
* Internally quality assure as required, providing detailed and robust feedback to help assessors develop skills and maintain high standards across delivery
* Provide coaching, mentoring and constructive feedback to assessors to ensure high-quality teaching and learning across qualifications, apprenticeship standards and personal development programs
* Lead assessors and provide clear information, guidance and support to applicants regarding career pathways and relevant qualifications; conduct learner interviews, identify individual needs, determine entry points, and manage a structured induction process
* Deliver teaching and learning that inspires learners to achieve their personal and career objectives; evening work may be required
* Complete assessment and observation of learners in the workplace, ensuring timely, constructive feedback to help learners understand achievements and next steps
Essential Criteria
* Accepted vocational assessor qualification
* Accepted quality assurance qualification
* Accepted Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above
* GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Maths
* Own transport and willingness to travel for workplace assessments and monitoring visits
* Experience using e-portfolios and Microsoft Office or similar
* Proven ability to lead, support and observe teaching, learning and assessment
* Knowledge and experience of apprenticeship standards and supporting learners through EPA
