About The Role
Hours: 36 hrs per week - 3x12 hour shifts Monday-Sunday as per local rota, varying shift pattern.

Following the Michael Richards report, we at InHealth are excited to be partnering with the NHS to develop new Community Diagnostic Centres to support this vision.
We are delighted to be opening a new Community Diagnostic Centre in Yeovil and are actively recruiting now to build a passionate and dedicated team to support this nationwide programme to enhance the availability of healthcare in the community, while enhancing your own career.
Right now we are looking to recruit a Clinical Assistant into the team, to work alongside the Radiography Department in MRI, CT and Xray.

What will you do:
As a clinical assistant, supporting the Radiography department, the core of your role is to ensure our patients receive the best standard of care from arrival through to departure. The Clinical Assistant is primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the working day by welcoming patients into the clinical area and preparing them for their scan. You will also be required to complete some administrative tasks within the department and also support in Reception as needed.
* Welcoming patients in a professional, courteous manner, coordinating their arrival through to departure
* Escorting patients to and from the clinical area as required, explaining the procedure in full and ensuring any questions or concerns are managed professionally
* Completing the patient's pre-scan data protection/consent form and health and safety questionnaire (where applicable)
* Assessing and monitoring the patient's condition after procedure, ensuring that any changes are reported to the relevant staff immediately
* Accurately entering all relevant patient data into the patient management system
* Managing administrative tasks within the department as required.
* Working on the reception desk, professionally welcoming patients into the Centre
* Learn to cannulate patients
We are looking for someone who has
* Experience in a healthcare environment or a passion to work in healthcare
* Experience working in a customer facing role
* Strong administration skills
* Flexibility to working patterns
* An empathetic and caring approach
* A passion for delivering the highest level of customer service
* Experience working in a fast paced environment
* A Passion to learn cannulation
