We are looking for part time or full time Receptionists/Administrators at Trinity Medical Centre, a well established dispensing practice serving the local community for over 25 years.
The practice has a patient list of 5,400 and operates Monday to Friday 8am‑6:30pm (hours negotiable). Trinity Medical Centre has 3 GP partners, a salaried GP, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, a Nurse Prescriber, a Healthcare Assistant and a Dispensing Technician supporting the dispensing service.
Key Responsibilities
 * Provide an efficient reception service to patients and visitors.
 * Handle general enquiries face‑to‑face and by telephone, explaining processes and procedures.
 * Keep patients informed and deliver best possible service.
 * Prioritise workload and manage time effectively.
 * Undertake patient liaison, document processing, record updates, stock control.
 * Explain practice arrangements and formal requirements to new patients and those seeking temporary cover, ensuring completion of procedures.
 * Take phone calls, divert calls, take messages with accuracy and prompt delivery.
 * Prioritise patient appointments and home visits, liaising with the duty doctor when required.
 * Action repeat prescriptions electronically or manually according to protocol.
 * Advise patients of charges for private (non‑GMS) services, accept payment and issue receipts.
 * Administer non‑NHS services such as medicals and copies of records for insurance purposes.
 * Open and close premises.
 * Register patients accurately and in a timely manner.
 * Provide cover for colleague absences, sickness or annual leave as requested.
Qualifications & Personal Attributes
 * Enthusiastic, self‑motivated and a good team player who supports and works alongside colleagues.
 * Familiar with day‑to‑day operations within a GP practice.
 * Confident in the use of IT and technology.
 * A caring individual who understands the importance of good service delivery.
