A day in the life
As the Marketing Manager at ManyPets, you will own our paid channels that drive direct acquisition. You are a broad marketer who understands how to build a multi-channel marketing strategy that maximizes full funnel performance to acquire high-value new customers. You understand the role of media mix in driving performance and can set long-term strategies and make just-in-time optimizations. You focus on how channels and tactics align with overall business goals.
You will oversee Sales Activation and Brand Building channels (from paid search, paid social to TV, radio, print). You will plan and execute an omni-channel strategy, supporting full funnel metrics, testing, and diversifying channel mix for better performance. You will use audience segmentation to target the right customers at each lifecycle stage, maximizing marketing efficiency. You understand the importance of creative and media planning and can lead briefing and managing external agencies for optimal results.
You are highly data-driven, analytical, and comfortable diving into data to understand performance drivers and adjust strategies accordingly. You will partner with the data team to ensure relevant metrics are available, and you are capable of building dashboards or models when needed. You will also manage and mentor junior team members, fostering growth marketing excellence.
Your responsibilities
* Develop and execute an omni-channel marketing strategy to drive growth, focusing on customer acquisition and revenue.
* Optimize the marketing budget to improve Cost Per Acquisition and channel efficiency through testing audiences, messaging, creatives, and landing pages, while identifying new growth opportunities.
* Partner with the Data Team to utilize data analysis and measurement to enhance marketing effectiveness.
* Test and scale new acquisition channels to diversify our channel mix and reduce reliance on top performers.
* Ensure all marketing activities comply with FCA and ASA regulations.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities to strengthen our market position.
* Develop and execute cohesive full-funnel marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging and timely delivery.
* Build measurement and reporting frameworks to monitor and optimize channel performance.
* Manage relationships with agencies and partners, providing clear briefs and ensuring high-quality execution.
* Oversee and mentor two performance marketing leads, aligning objectives with overall marketing goals.
Your Skills And Experience
* 9+ years of marketing experience, from awareness to conversion, building brands and businesses.
* Highly data-driven approach, ensuring proper data infrastructure for performance measurement.
* Experience managing multiple channels simultaneously to create full-funnel strategies.
* Good knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMRush), advertising platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok), and experience analytics tools (ContentSquare, Hotjar).
* Understanding of B2C marketing funnels.
* Experience managing agencies, including briefing and media planning for high performance.
* Knowledge of audience segmentation and targeting for effective funnel strategies.
* Experience managing and coaching small teams.
* Customer-obsessed and analytical, capable of translating customer data into insights and actions.
* Proactive problem solver with initiative.
