* South Sefton: L20 (Bootle), L21 (Litherland), L30 (Netherton)
* Central Sefton: L22 (Waterloo), L23 (Crosby), L31 (Maghull), L37 (Formby)
* North Sefton: PR8 and PR9 (Southport), PR4 (Ainsdale)
Key Duties:
* Provide one:to:one support to students who need extra help with their work.
* Work with small groups of pupils to keep them focused on the task.
* Explain the teachers instructions in a simpler way for students.
* Help students with their reading, writing, or practical activities.
* Help the teacher manage classroom behaviour and keep students on track.
* Prepare learning materials and hand out equipment during lessons.
* Monitor student progress and give feedback to the class teacher.
* Support students well:being and confidence within the school day.
* Supervise students during break times and between lesson changes.
Requirements:
* Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people (classroom support, coaching, or youth work) is preferred.
* Attributes: A patient, encouraging nature and the ability to explain tasks clearly.
* Compliance: You must hold or be willing for an Enhanced DBS check and have the right to work in the UK.
