Role Overview
Bloomberg’s EMEA Benefits team supports over 6,000 employees across 44 countries. In London, you will drive the benefits agenda and support benefit programs in the EMEA region, including Retirement, Health & Welfare programs/projects, and Wellness initiatives. Key duties include managing benefits vendors, handling case escalations, internal plan communications, and collaborating with Procurement partners on contract reviews/renewals and invoice reconciliations. You will also analyze benefit plan design reviews and work with internal HR stakeholders, Benefits Operations, and Payroll teams on policy queries.
Responsibilities
* Drive plan design improvements by conducting financial and employee impact reviews and external market benchmarking.
* Ensure statutory obligations and compliance with local laws and regulations.
* Review programs to improve operational and administrative effectiveness; identify and implement process improvements.
* Analyze utilization reports and trends; proactively recommend improvements based on claims data and market practice.
* Act as point of contact for complex employee benefits questions, exercising sound judgement to provide solutions.
* Manage implementation of new plans, programs, policies, and plan designs.
* Cultivate and manage relationships with external consultants, vendors, and providers, ensuring service standards are met.
* Maintain a working knowledge of benefits legislation, industry standards, and methodologies, incorporating standards into procedures.
* Communicate program changes and compliance updates with Internal Communications partners.
* Maintain accurate benefits information on the internal HR portal.
Qualifications
* At least 7 years of Benefits administration and advisory experience, with 2–3 years in a corporate setting.
* Familiarity with Benefits programs and local regulations in the UK and other EMEA locations (France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, UAE).
* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
* Experience in innovative benefits plan design and implementation, with excellent project management skills.
* Ability to adapt to changing statutory regulations and requirements.
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail; ability to make and communicate difficult decisions.
* Independent, self‑motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under minimal supervision.
* Excellent analytical skills, including data quality management.
* Customer‑service focus with a “can‑do” attitude.
* Good judgement, knowing when to escalatation and when to be flexible.

* Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
* Knowledge of analysis and reporting.
* Experience working collaboratively.
Salary Range: £50,000.00 – £60,000.00 (London area).
