Your Role
This position offers a fantastic opportunity to begin a career in accounts. You will undertake a level 2 apprenticeship in accounts or finance within our Purchase Ledger Function reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Receiving, distributing and processing post accordingly
* Ensuring all relevant haulage documentation is received
* Processing, scanning and retrieval of purchase invoices in a timely and accurate manner
* Invoicing checking and verification
* Assist in Resolving supplier queries effectively and professionally
* Maintain proper archiving of financial documentation for audit and reference purposes
* Support the team with various ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as required
Your profile
Required skills, knowledge and experience:
* Candidates must possess good communication and organisational skills
* Be enthusiastic and self-motivated.
You will:
* Be punctual and keen to learn and take on new skills
* Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
* Possess excellent communication skills and be able to engage with the business and external customers via phone and email
* Have good written and numerical skills, and able to display attention to detail.
