Salary: up to £39,000
Hours: 07:45 – 16:30 (Every 2nd Friday off, PAID)

About the role
What you’ll do:
1. Provide the installation of fire detection and alarm systems.
2. Undertake all duties and responsibilities, including relevant training and medicals, as deemed necessary for working in radiological and explosive controlled area.
3. Comply with policies relating to Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Technical Compliance issues that affect the customer and employees.
4. Ensure all relevant engineering practices are adhered to.
5. Carry out all duties in accordance with the Company Safety Manual.
6. Advise manager on the progress of works as requested
7. Develop and maintain effective Client relationship and assist in gaining future work.
8. Control and manage tools and plant on site to ensure that resources are in accordance with the job.
9. Provide weekly progress reports to Line Manager, as and when required.
10. Return necessary paperwork to Administration team or Manager as required.
11. Work in a cost effective and efficient manner, ensuring that all systems worked upon are operational.
Who you’ll be:
12. Experience of installing fire detection and alarm systems.
13. Proven knowledge of relevant Fire standards BS 5839 Pt 1 – 2013, BS 6266 Pt 1 – 2013.
14. City and Guilds 236 pts 1&2 electrical installation or equivalent.
15. Proven ability to install containment and cabling specifically related to fire detection and alarm systems.
16. Proven experience on working in industrial environments.
17. 18th Edition Electrical qualification.
