Working Schedule:
Monday - Friday (37.5 hours/week)
Major Job Functions
* Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and related equipment.
* Inspect and test electrical components such as transformers and switchgear.
* Use blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals for project completion.
* Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans.
* Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using appropriate tools.
Specific Skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and customer rapport skills.
* Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
Knowledge
Extensive knowledge and experience in electrical systems, adhering to BS 7671 (18th Edition) wiring regulations and NICEIC standards.
Education and Experience
* CSCS Electrician grade/JIB card
* NVQ Level 3
* Test & Inspection qualifications (2394/2395)
* Full UK driver's license
* Experience with fire alarm and containment installation
* Desirable: Confined space, PASMA, MEWPs/IPAF, First aid, CompEx, SSSTS training.
