About the Role
As a Vehicle Paint Technician at Steer, you will work on a wide range of customer vehicles, including electric and hybrid models. Your key responsibilities will include:
13. Preparing vehicle surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking.
14. Mixing and applying paint to match vehicle specifications using spray guns and other equipment.
15. Operating our spray booth to ensure top-quality results.
16. Ensuring that all work meets customer specifications and quality standards.
17. Collaborating with your team to meet deadlines and provide exceptional service.
18. Maintaining a clean, organised workspace, while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
19. Previous experience as a Vehicle Paint Technician or in a similar role.
20. Experience working with various types of vehicles, including electric and hybrid models.
21. Strong knowledge of automotive painting techniques and materials.
22. Proficiency in using paint mixing equipment and spray guns.
23. A solid understanding of the accident repair industry.
24. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
25. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
