PHP Developer
Salary: Up to £60,000
Location: Home-based with occasional office visits
Contract: Full-Time or Part-Time (Up to 37.5 hours per week)

IT Developer
to join their team. This role is pivotal in maintaining current infrastructure stability while architecting the next generation of business systems.
Key Responsibilities
* System Development:
Manage the full software lifecycle, translating business requirements into scalable, high-quality code.
* Operational Integrity:
Proactively maintain and troubleshoot existing systems, managing both production and test environments to ensure reliable service.
* Best Practices:
Uphold high technical standards through rigorous documentation and industry-aligned development processes.
* Collaboration:
Partner with internal stakeholders and end-users to provide technical insights and oversee the deployment of system changes.
* Environment Management:
Oversee server environments and manage system deployments.
What Our Client Is Looking For
* Experience:
At least
two years of commercial software development
experience with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Core Tech Stack:
Comprehensive knowledge of
PHP and MySQL
, with proven experience in
MVC architecture
and the
Laravel framework
.
* Frontend/Tools:
Proficiency in
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Blade templates
, alongside version control experience (GitHub/BitBucket).
* Infrastructure:
Familiarity with
Linux/Ubuntu environments
and configuring
Apache
web servers.
* Mindset:
A self-starter who works well independently or within a team and enjoys communicating directly with system users.
* Preferred Extras:
Experience with
Livewire, Docker, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or the Zend framework
is highly desirable.
