Job Summary
As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and high-quality care to individuals in various settings, including care homes and home care environments. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to implement care plans tailored to each individual's needs.
Responsibilities
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support individuals with mobility and physical activities.
* Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
* Maintain accurate records of client care and progress in accordance with care plans.
* Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
* Participate in training sessions and adhere to health and safety regulations within the care environment.
Skills
* Proficient in English, both spoken and written, for effective communication with clients and team members.
* Strong IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software.
* Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
* Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential.
* Ability to understand and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
* Driving licence is preferred for transporting clients as needed. This role requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about providing exceptional care and support to those in need, ensuring that every client receives the highest standard of service in a respectful and dignified manner.
Pay: From £14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 36 per week
