FBFX Ltd is looking for a Junior Screen Printing Technician to join our busy workshop. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who's eager to learn, enjoys teamwork and ready to learn the craft of screen printing in a workshop environment.
What you'll be doing:
* Prepare screens for printing by coating with emulsion or phat film to ensure even and appropriate coverage based on the print method required.
* Clean frames thoroughly between prints to maintain quality.
* Conduct precise exposure of screens ensuring the integrity of the design is accurately captured for both flat frame and phat film techniques.
* Perform washout procedures for exposed screens, both flat and phat film.
* Carry out printing using Flat frame, Phat film frame, Multiple frame setups, depending on the design and fabric requirements.
* Manual screen printing - operating squeegee by hand.
What we're looking for:
* Previous screen printing experience is a bonus, but not essential training will be provided.
* Workshop or creative hands on experience would be great.
* A team player with strong communication skills.
* Eye for detail and colour.
* Comfortable working with large equipment and being on your feet (this is a physical role).
* Problem solver who can work to deadlines without losing quality.
* Most importantly, a willingness to learn and grow with us
