Job Purpose: As the Electrical Supervisor, your primary aim is to provide effective support to the engineering team, oversee administrative tasks for the site manager, and ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of electrical equipment. Main Assignments: Perform maintenance and reactive activities for a variety of electrical and mechanical building services equipment. Provide essential support to the local team to ensure the safe operation and repair of all M&E and building services equipment. Supervise engineering staff and deputize for the Engineering Manager as needed. Manage documents, work orders, and reports via the CAFM system. Work in accordance with the Permit to Work System and adhere to safety protocols. Undertake all allocated tasks in a timely and professional manner, including LV/HV Authorised Person duties and critical system repairs. Maintain communication with Client staff members and report service-related issues promptly. Remain flexible with site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency. Context and Main Issues: Ensure completion of planned and reactive work orders, especially critical system failures. Manage health and safety policies for internal and external resources. Accountabilities: Obtain Sodexo authorized person status within six months of appointment. Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation. Complete planned and reactive maintenance activities within contract timescales. Provide high-quality reports and updates via handheld devices. Receive positive feedback from management and stakeholders. Desirable: Familiarity with health & safety legislation. Team player and people person. Leadership skills, including taking initiative and demonstrating enthusiasm. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Job Profile: City and Guilds/NVQ Level 1, 2, 3 qualifications in Electrical. Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical maintenance. Proficiency in MS Office and other computer skills.
