Our formulation team improves the formulation and development of new materials with pharmacist support; supports the operational activities within the department, review/approve product data, purchase materials and highlight technical improvements according to GMP, regulatory and specific customer standards while remaining safe and promoting continuous improvement and forward thinking; Throughout the 12 month placement, as a Formulation Assistant, your responsibilities will include, though will not be limited to: Create formulations for daily order requirements and update related documentation. Support product development and formulation related tasks Improve the formulation and development of new products with formulation team support. Support the operational activities of production related to formulation of products. Review product data, raw materials and highlight improvements according to GMP, regulatory standards and specific customer requirements. Create formulation reports and review existing reports. Create formulations to meet the requirements of the daily orders. Assist in formulation related enquiries from the Customer Services Department and the Production Department. Communicate product data to appropriate individuals. Gather information to support product development. Promote continuous review, improvement and implementation of formulation related SOPS, methods and finished product specifications. To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate: Currently attendign university and studying a scientific related discipline Good numerical and writing skill. Ability to follow instruction. Detail oriented, and excellent memorization skill. Eager to learn and adaptive to any changes. Good IT skills and good administrative skills such as email writing, filing and presentation skill. Good initiative, introspective skill with ‘can do’ attitude. Positive mindset and ability to resolve problems. Team player with ability to work with multi-cultural environment. Ability to cope with changes and pressure. Hours of work: Monday – Friday 09.00 – 18.00 Proposed start date for role is 01.07.24
