About the role
We’re looking for a commercially minded Analyst to join Ogilvy UK’s Marketing Sciences team, working at the heart of our social and influencer ecosystem.
This role sits within our Social & Influence team and focuses on turning social, creator and campaign data into clear, strategic recommendations that improve performance and drive brand growth.
You’ll work across content, creators, paid media and commerce — helping shape how one of the world’s largest beauty brands measures social impact and connects it to real business outcomes.
If you’re analytically strong, confident with data tools, and excited by the creator economy, this role offers genuine ownership, client exposure and room to grow.

1. Analyse social and influencer campaign performance across paid, owned and earned activity
2. Build and maintain robust measurement frameworks and reporting structures
3. Conduct deep-dive analysis to uncover optimisation opportunities
4. Connect social KPIs to broader digital and business metrics
Experimentation & Impact
5. Support test-and-learn programmes including A/B testing and incrementality analysis
6. Help design structured learning agendas across markets and brands
7. Contribute to evolving how we measure creator effectiveness and ROI
Data & Tools
8. Extract and manipulate data using SQL and Python or R
9. Work with influencer and social platforms (e.g. Traackr, CreatorIQ, social listening tools, native platform analytics)
10. Build intuitive dashboards in Tableau or Power BI
11. Ensure analytical outputs are accurate, scalable and decision-ready
Client & Collaboration
12. Translate complex analysis into clear, compelling narratives
13. Present insights to internal teams and L’Oréal stakeholders
14. Partner with strategy, creative, media and influencer teams to embed data into planning
About You
15. 3–5 years’ experience in analytics (agency, consultancy, media, social or digital preferred)
16. Strong grounding in statistical analysis and experimental thinking
17. Confident in Traackr
18. Experience building dashboards in Tableau or Power BI
19. Understanding of social platforms, influencer marketing and digital KPIs
20. Comfortable presenting insights to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
21. Experience with incrementality testing or attribution
22. Exposure to cloud data environments (e.g. BigQuery, Snowflake)
23. Familiarity with social listening tools
24. Understanding of GA4 or digital analytics
Why This Role?
