Pertemps is recruiting Personal Advisors to join a dynamic Leaving Care Team in North London. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a direct impact on the lives of young people transitioning from care to independent adulthood.
?? About the Role: As a Personal Advisor, you will:
* Support care leavers aged 1625 in line with their Pathway Plans
* Help young people access housing, education, employment, and health services
* Maintain regular contact and build trusting, supportive relationships
* Work closely with social workers and external agencies to deliver coordinated care
* Keep accurate and timely case records in line with statutory responsibilities
? What Youll Need:
* Previous experience supporting care leavers or vulnerable young people
* Knowledge of relevant legislation including the Children (Leaving Care) Act
* Strong communication and advocacy skills
* Ability to work independently and manage a caseload
* A current Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain)
