Are you ready to take on a hands-on role in a dynamic industrial environment where your contribution directly impacts production success? We’re looking for a motivated and safety-conscious Operative to join our Powders team. Reporting to the Powders Production Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in maintaining plant performance, ensuring product compliance, and operating mobile plant equipment—all while working a rotating shift pattern that keeps things fresh and exciting.
Main Responsibilities:
As the successful Operative, your day-to-day duties will include (but are not limited to):
 1. Operating the processing plant efficiently and safely
 2. Loading lorries via the control room to meet daily customer requirements
 3. Collaborating with the lab testing team to ensure product quality
 4. Performing daily safety and quality checks on the plant
 5. Attending and actively contributing to monthly safety and operational meetings
 6. Operating manual bulk bag machines
 7. Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across the site
The Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for someone who:
 8. Has experience in a similar operative role
 9. Is willing to work a rotating shift pattern
 10. Is safety-conscious and ideally holds a forklift licence
 11. Has experience working in an industrial environment with a focus on health and safety
 12. Is eager to learn—full training will be provided
