Our client is seeking an Installation and Service Engineer to be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment at customer sites (typically schools, colleges, hospitals). The role ensures that installed products operate efficiently and meet safety and quality standards while providing technical support to customers. Key Responsibilities Install new equipment, and systems at customer locations. Perform routine maintenance and servicing of installed equipment. Diagnose technical problems and perform repairs or replacements. Test and commission newly installed systems to ensure proper functionality. Provide on-site technical support to customers. Maintain service records, reports, and documentation. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company procedures. Coordinate with internal teams such as engineering, technical support, and sales Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills Knowledge of installation procedures and system testing Problem-solving and analytical ability Good communication and customer service skills Ability to read technical drawings and manuals Time management and ability to work independently Basic computer skills for reporting and diagnostics Qualifications and Experience Experience and qualifications related to Mechanical and Electrical installation Product specific training will be offered Experience in installation, maintenance, or field service engineering Any experience in installation/service of HVAC or LEV systems would be relevant Working Conditions This role will be working from home driving company van to customer sites Hours are Monday to Friday daytime Travel time, overtime, bonus, pension and training included For more information please apply with CV or contact Jim Lander at Rednal Recruitment Ltd.
