Exciting opportunities are now available at our well-established, Scandinavian-inspired boutique day spa, nestled in the heart of Radlett, Hertfordshire. We are currently on the lookout for a talented Spa Therapist and a Massage Therapist to join our team.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants should ideally possess at least one year of experience in the spa and beauty industry but not a must. Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
For the Spa Therapist role, proficiency in the following treatments is essential:
* Facials
* Massages
Additional qualifications such as Manicures, Pedicures, Waxing etc will be viewed favorably.
For the Massage therapist role we would require experience and certification in:
* Deep Tissue Massage
* Swedish Massage
* Hot Stones Massage
* Pregnancy Massage
Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients.
* Employ various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage, tailored to individual client needs.
* Assist with front desk duties, including appointment scheduling and guest inquiries.
* Promote and upsell spa services and products to enhance client experiences.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of treatment rooms and shared areas.
* Work collaboratively with team members to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
* Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss their specific needs and preferences.
* Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish and deep tissue, tailored to each client's requirements.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly sanitised.
* Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress while respecting confidentiality.
* Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices.
* Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques to continually enhance service quality.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 1, 2, 3 in Beauty Therapy (required)
* Valid certification or diploma in Massage Therapy from an accredited institution.
* Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to effectively assess client needs.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
* A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining professionalism at all times.
* Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Our operating hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. The anticipated start date for these positions is in September.
