Overview
Our Pharmacy Dispenser rate of pay starts from £13.70 an hour; this increases to £14.97 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. We offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12).
We schedule shifts within the availability windows below and provide 3 weeks’ notice of shifts.

Role Overview

Responsibilities
* Supporting the operation of a modern pharmacy.
* Accurately dispensing medication using technical skills and customer focus.
* Dispensing prescription medicines with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Engaging with customers in a confident, friendly, professional manner to provide a great service.
* Offering appropriate information to customers on common ailments, symptoms, and products.
* Understanding customer needs, explaining benefits of products, and selling suitable items.
* Advising customers on the range of pharmacy services available.
* Delivering pharmaceutical services and dispensing processes according to Standard Operating Procedures.
* Assessing the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions.
* Handling clinical and legal queries from healthcare practitioners within area of competence.
* Responding to customer queries about prescription medicines and informing pharmacists of complaints.
* Ensuring all dispensary routines and SOPs are followed.
* Keeping dispensary and consulting rooms clean, tidy, and free of clutter.
* Ensuring prescription administration is accurate and on time.
* Bringing promotional activities and company initiatives to life.
* Carrying out all procedures accurately to protect profit and ensure safe, legal trade.
* Completing corporate and departmental training.
* Keeping up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy.
Qualifications
* Qualifications gained from working in a pharmacy environment.
* A desire to train and develop in the pharmacy field.
