Join Our Team as an Operations Manager!
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking pilot service in Grantham, Lincolnshire! We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced applicants to help shape a new initiative that supports individuals transitioning from acute mental health wards back into the community. In partnership with the Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Trust, this service is set to launch in October 2025, with the successful candidate starting in September 2025 to assist with implementation.
Our mission is to empower individuals to improve their lives and live safely in the community. As the Operations Manager, you will oversee a mental health step-down service, focusing on skill-building for long-term recovery, housing support, and fostering independence.
You will lead a dedicated team of recovery workers, peer support workers, and a housing and transition navigator, all while collaborating with various agencies to ensure successful community integration for those we support. This is a two-year pilot scheme with the potential for extension, where you will play a crucial role in demonstrating service efficacy and embedding it into the local mental health pathway.
At Turning Point, we have a strong presence in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, and you will be part of a supportive management team focused on governance, quality, and service development.
Your Responsibilities
* Manage the staff team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
* Demonstrate service performance, development, and evaluation throughout the pilot.
* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including health and safety standards.
* Collaborate with individuals we support, staff, and stakeholders to maintain a recovery-focused ethos.
* Oversee effective financial management and service budget responsibilities.
* Maintain a person-centered approach, prioritizing service user involvement.
You will work 37 hours per week and participate in a shared on-call rota. Full responsibilities can be found in the corresponding job description for this position.

* At least 3 years of experience in an operational management role.
