Lymm High School is a well‑established 11-18 school with over 1950 students (approx. 400 in the Sixth Form) and exceptional resources, including 28 acres of beautiful grounds, a swimming pool, leisure complex and our own residential centre in Anglesey. Responsibilities
* Provide one‑to‑one counselling to support the mental health and emotional well‑being of the Sixth Form students.
* Work as part of the wider Sixth Form team to provide pastoral and well‑being support for the Sixth Form as a whole.
* Help foster the ambitious and nurturing environment that makes the Sixth Form successful.
Qualifications
* Recognised counselling qualification.
* Registration with a professional body such as the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy or equivalent.
* Adaptable, good‑humoured, resilient with plenty of energy to keep up with the dynamic Sixth Form environment.
Working Conditions
Three days per week (or equivalent), term‑time only plus 5 INSET days.
