3. Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
4. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
5. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee VAT submissions.
6. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
7. Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
8. Analyse financial data to provide actionable insights to senior management.
9. Maintain and improve internal financial controls and processes.
10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
11. A professional qualification in accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
12. Proven experience in financial reporting and compliance.
13. Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax regulations.
