As a key member of the HR team, you will play a vital role in supporting managers and employees, driving recruitment activity, ensuring legal compliance, and helping to create a positive and high-performing workplace culture. Key Responsibilities: Being the first point of contact for all HR-related queries across the business Providing practical and compliant HR advice to managers and employees Supporting with employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance management Managing end-to-end recruitment processes, from advertising roles through to onboarding new starters Coordinating inductions, probation reviews, and new starter compliance checks Preparing contracts, processing employee changes, and maintaining accurate HR records Supporting with payroll administration by collating employee data including overtime, sickness, starters, and leavers Delivering and coordinating HR training and compliance activities Managing HR systems and training platforms including onboarding and vetting processes Supporting family-friendly policies including maternity, paternity, flexible working, and parental leave requests Working collaboratively with managers and union representatives to support business objectives Ensuring HR practices remain compliant with current employment legislation and company policies This is an ideal role for a true HR generalist who is well-organised with strong communication skills and has the ability to collaborate effectively with others in the team and wider business.
