Responsibilities
* Support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
* Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt resources and activities to meet pupil needs.
* Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/carers.
* Foster positive relationships with pupils to support their social and emotional development.
* Promote an inclusive classroom environment that values diversity and respect.
* Support pupils during transitions, break times, and any off-site activities if required.
Desirable Criteria
* Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, CACHE, or similar).
* Team Teach or equivalent behaviour management training.
* Experience working with specific needs such as autism, speech and language difficulties, or SEMH.
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
