Marketing & Business Development Manager | London (supporting Paris office) | £70k-£75k FTE pro-rata for 3-Month FTC with hybrid working
We are working with a leading sector-focused global law firm to recruit a Marketing & Business Development Manager, Europe on a 3-month fixed-term contract (FTC), based in London with a focus on supporting the Paris office and wider European network.

This international law firm operates across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia, advising clients in complex, specialist sectors including construction, aviation, shipping, insurance, commodities and energy. The firm is commercially driven, solutions-focused and highly collaborative, with a strong emphasis on delivering value to clients across global markets.
The Role
Sitting within the International Marketing & Business Development team, this role will work closely with partners and colleagues across European offices, with a particular focus on Paris. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to the partnership, supporting the development and execution of marketing and BD strategy across the region and enabling cross-border collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement European marketing and business development plans, with a focus on the Paris office
* Support pitches, RFPs and strategic bid activity
* Manage key client accounts and client development initiatives
* Coordinate cross-border BD activity across European offices
* Support client listening programmes and feedback initiatives
* Lead and coordinate events, seminars and track ROI
* Enhance referral flows across the international network
* Support the integration of lateral hires into the wider firm
* Maintain high-quality marketing materials and ensure CRM accuracy
* Contribute to global best practice within the M&BD function
Candidate Profile
* 5–10+ years’ experience in marketing and business development within a law firm or professional services environment
* Experience operating at manager level, including leading or mentoring others
* Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills in an international environment
* Confident working across multiple offices and time zones
* Fluent in French (written and spoken) is essential
* Commercially minded, proactive and collaborative approach
