Nursery Manager - ME9 - Up to £40,000 DOE
This lovely nursery is looking for a maternity cover manager for their setting!
Located in two Victorian townhouses in Gravesend, this setting is warm and welcoming, close to transport links, with parking available.

What we need from you:
• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Experience in an Early Years leadership role (e.g., Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager)
• Experience participating in regulatory inspections
• Experience developing high-performance teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and service excellence
• Confident decision-making skills, supporting change, understanding the business and service dynamics within a regulated setting
• Strong knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children
• Ability to build trust and strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and external partners
Your duties will include:
• Leading nursery teams to deliver outstanding care
• Driving employee engagement, retention, and performance
• Collaborating with Recruitment and HR to ensure full staffing and diversity
• Mentoring staff to ensure high-quality practice and experience, including for children with special needs
• Acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead, overseeing safeguarding and child protection policies
• Developing succession plans and nurturing talent within the team
• Working with regional teams on commercial strategies to grow the nursery
• Managing nursery performance to meet revenue and cost targets
