About The Role
In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. Joining HC-One offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to these individuals.
As a Housekeeping Assistant, your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment, demonstrating your attention to detail. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning, you will do so with kindness and professionalism.
HC-One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although training will be provided. Excellent time management and organizational skills are essential. Your positive energy, ability to communicate effectively, and considerate nature are key qualities. You should be skilled at listening and giving instructions, and always communicate with residents and colleagues with kindness and respect.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. It is important that you can recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their roles and undertake additional training as needed. You should be proactive in seeking advice and reporting concerns, including escalation if necessary.
We will provide full training, offering you a great opportunity to learn new skills. In return, you will have access to a variety of benefits and support to promote your well-being and career development, including:
* Part-time 3 on 3 off rotation
* Paid enhanced DBS/PVG
