Salary: £450.00 per day
Develop, maintain and implement data structures and models with the University’s Wherescape RED data warehouse, to support strategic and operational requirements for reporting, analytics and other business needs.
Immediate responsibilities/requirements would include,
• Identify and deliver changes required in the Data Warehouse for reporting on
o Student recruitment
o Degree apprenticeships
o Annual performance
o Attendance and room/building usage
Work Experience
Experience of administering data warehouse platforms, carrying out requirements engineering and business process modelling activities.
Experience of developing and implementing data structure and models within an enterprise data warehouse environment
Experience of working to defined principles around data and system architecture, documentation and change controls.
Experience of working with Wherescape RED or equivalent enterprise data platform(s)
Experience of providing/undertaking solution analysis, options appraisal and recommendations
Education/ Qualifications
Relevant business or systems-based degree or equivalent work experience.
Skills/Abilities
Skills in developing and articulating value propositions to challenge, influence and develop priorities and workload.
Ability to communicate and collaborate well with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of an organisation with varying technical experience and capabilities.
Ability to manage and influence discussions and workshops for example around design, technology and development standards.
Strong problem-solving capability, with a logical approach and the ability to see different perspectives and options.
Ability to remain calm and work well under pressure, both as part of the team and on own initiative.
Appreciation of business priorities, deadlines and client requirements.
