Quantitative Engineer – C++/Rust | OTC & Systematic Crypto Trading | London Based (Hybrid, 4 days in office) | Up to £180,000 Equity Albert Bow is partnered with a crypto-native trading firm building low-latency infrastructure for OTC and systematic execution. They’re looking for a Quantitative Engineer to join the London team and take ownership of key trading systems, from pricing libraries and risk engines to connectivity and execution logic. You’ll work side-by-side with traders and quant researchers to identify latency bottlenecks, deploy optimised code, and maintain production-ready infra across live strategies. Responsibilities Design and maintain a high-performance pricing and risk library used in OTC trading Build and optimise C++/Rust components for real-time quoting and execution Work closely with trading to define requirements and rapidly deliver infrastructure Own critical parts of the stack: order logic, pricing, position/risk tracking, data handling Continuously profile, benchmark, and tune systems for performance and scale Drive projects from idea through to production with full ownership Requirements Expert-level programming in C++ or Rust, with focus on performance Strong grasp of low-level optimisation and systems-level debugging Experience in derivatives pricing, risk systems, or trading infra preferred Comfort working in latency-sensitive, production-critical environments Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related field Excellent quantitative and analytical skills Nice to Have Familiarity with fast market connectivity, quoting systems, or HFT-style architecture Python for data handling, scripting, or prototyping Experience supporting trading systems in production What’s on Offer Core engineering role in a fast-growing systematic and OTC crypto trading team Hybrid setup with 4 days a week in-office Up to £180,000 base meaningful equity Unlimited holiday and 20-day remote work policy Dedicated budget for learning & professional development Apple hardware, ClassPass, and wellness perks included If you're interested, please apply with an up-to-date CV or reach out directly – chrisgorry@albertbow.com.
