Role: Securities Practice Manager
We are seeking experienced Managers with a strong background in Securities Operations and Technology Change. This role involves working closely with clients to enhance front-to-back securities processes, systems, and controls; optimise the use of market infrastructure; and address regulatory and market-driven changes such as CSDR and accelerated settlement.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the securities lifecycle, from trade execution to settlement, and experience in project management or business analysis within securities change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery
1. Analyse, design, and implement solutions tailored to client needs.
2. Manage and contribute to the delivery of client projects.
3. Engage with clients during solution development and proposal phases.
4. Communicate client issues and solutions effectively, representing the firm as a thought leader.
5. Escalate risks or concerns related to client proposals for timely resolution.
New Business Development
6. Identify and develop new business opportunities.
7. Support sales teams by advising on solution approaches for campaigns requiring Practice expertise.
8. Contribute to the campaign pipeline through horizon scanning and opportunity analysis.
Partnership & Teamwork
9. Support the growth and development of the Practice and wider firm.
10. Assist in recruiting top talent across all levels.
11. Collaborate across teams to leverage internal capabilities and promote cross-Practice learning.
12. Participate in internal initiatives focused on learning, development, and team building.
13. Mentor junior colleagues and lead by example.
About You
Experience
14. Background in financial services consulting or change management within Capital Markets (preferably post-trade).
15. Experience in one or more of the following:ConsultingProgramme/Project ManagementBusiness AnalysisCapital MarketsPost-trade ProcessingFinancial Market Infrastructure or Post-trade FinTechStrategy, Operating Model, and Process Design
Knowledge
16. Strong understanding of capital markets and the regulatory landscape.
17. In-depth knowledge of at least one asset class or functional area is preferred.
