Due to our current Assistant Psychologist securing a place on the Clinical Psychology Doctorate, we are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated psychology graduate to join our small and friendly team of clinicians delivering both individual and team psychological interventions to staff.
Here for You is a psychology-led wellbeing and mental health service offering confidential staff support for NHS, social care, Surrey County Council, and other eligible staff groups across Surrey & North East Hampshire. The aims are to align with our local People Plan and Trust wellbeing strategy, offer wellbeing information and access to resources, and provide rapid access to psychological services where needed. We work closely with partner organisations across Surrey and NE Hampshire to coordinate wellbeing offers and outreach to vulnerable staff groups.

In this role, the postholder will co-facilitate workshops, bespoke team sessions, individual wellbeing plans, and brief triage sessions for staff. Additionally, you will support clinicians in delivering interventions, compile monthly data reports for SABP and NHSE, and assist in the smooth running of the service. You will also lead on communications and social media for the service alongside the other assistant psychologist. The service continually reviews and develops interventions to meet staff needs based on the latest evidence-based practices. The post will also involve working with the Head of Staff Support to support the Trust's Staff Incident Support Team (SIST).
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop clinical and audit skills within a supportive team, supporting psychological wellbeing initiatives and contributing to staff support. You will gain experience in whole-system working and the evolving roles of applied psychologists within the NHS. A keen interest in developing new skills and delivering compassionate, responsive services is essential.
