Purchasing Administrator
Staffline Ireland are recruiting for a Purchasing Administrator on behalf of an industry leader in Uk's & Irelands Building Services sector. The purchasing admin will play a key part in the company's procurement team, adopting a proactive approach to maintaining quality standards while optimising value and reducing risk across all projects.
Responsibilities:
1. To provide full administration support to a busy purchasing department
2. Process and record a large number of documents daily, including uploading purchase orders to project folders.
3. To be responsible for all paperwork relating to incoming / outgoing deliveries including all necessary customs declarations
4. To provide information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data / trends
5. Completing new supplier vendor forms
6. Maintain procurement systems and ensure compliance with the agreed procedures. Job Description - Management Accountant- 2023 Page 2 of 3
7. Working as part of a team and on own initiative to ensure that all information is correct and accurate on all systems.
8. Actively following up on outstanding order confirmations, maintaining accurate documentation, and monitoring returns and overdue orders.
9. To maintain high standards of work within the department.
Essential requirements:
10. Good Microsoft Office skills - to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
11. Ability to take ownership of their duties and a willingness to grow and learn within their team and the company.
12. 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent, these must include Mathematics and English Language
13. Minimum 3 years previous experience in a similar administration role
14. Demonstrate a good ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
15. Excellent attention to detail.
16. Good communication & literacy skills.
17. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
Desirable Criteria:
18. Previous experience working in a construction, engineering, or manufacturing background.

Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-3pm
