About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivational Transactional Finance Manager to join our Finance team. In this dynamic role, you will lead, manage, and develop your team, utilizing your finance expertise across all areas of purchase ledger, including cash book and employee expenses, to deliver excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead, coach, and develop the payables team, setting SMART objectives and goals.
2. Handle month-end and year-end procedures, supporting the annual audit.
3. Ensure the smooth operation of the Purchase Ledger department by coordinating tasks, managing purchase invoices, resolving queries, and coding.
4. Drive process improvements within the new purchase-to-pay system and across the department.
5. Manage payments in multiple currencies accurately.
6. Reconcile account balances and bank statements.
7. Manage payment requests and resolve related queries.
8. Process company expenses and credit card transactions.
9. Provide management reports.
10. Assist with payroll processing if previous experience exists.
Candidate Requirements
1. At least 3 years of purchase ledger, cash book experience, and team management experience.
2. Knowledge of Sage 50, QuickBooks, ERP, and automated finance systems is advantageous.
3. Payroll experience is desirable.
4. GCSE Maths and English Grade A-C.
