Management Accountant - Join a High-Performing Finance Team
We are looking for a Management Accountant to support a growing and dynamic finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, part-qualified accountant to step into a fast-paced environment, working across a portfolio of businesses and playing a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and financial control.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce accurate monthly management accounts to tight deadlines, including full P&L and consolidated fund reporting
* Complete accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, and maintain royalty and fixed asset records
* Assist with board pack preparation, including variance analysis and EBITDA bridge reporting
* Prepare finance summaries for non-finance stakeholders
* Support with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes
* Contribute to the preparation of statutory accounts, including consolidations
* Approve ledger transactions and liaise with purchase/sales ledger teams
* Analyse KPIs and performance metrics for senior management
* Engage in ad hoc analysis, business projects, and new system integrations
* Help maintain and improve financial controls and governance
* Provide holiday cover and team support where needed
Ideal Candidate
* Part-qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA)
* Experienced in management accounts, budgeting & forecasting
* Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102
* Confident using Excel (advanced level); Sage 200 experience desirable
* Proactive and comfortable with shifting priorities and deadlines
* Excellent communication skills - able to convey financial information clearly
* Resilient, organised, and thrives under pressure
* Strong team player with a collaborative, can-do mindset
* Comfortable working with colleagues across multiple departments
