You're a Fire Risk Consultant who wants more influence-over clients, projects, and how fire risk is approached. At Stantec, you'll join a growing Fire Risk Management team in a senior, client-facing role where your input will shape both project outcomes and the direction of the team. You'll work across a varied portfolio of buildings and sectors, within a multidisciplinary business that brings together building, engineering and design expertise-giving you the platform to deliver practical, joined-up solutions. ABOUT THE ROLE You will deliver fire risk consultancy services across a broad client base, taking ownership of technical quality, programme, and client outcomes. This includes carrying out and reviewing fire risk assessments, ensuring outputs are clear, consistent, and aligned with current regulatory expectations. You'll work closely with clients, advising on risk, compliance, and practical next steps, while building strong, trusted relationships. Internally, you'll provide direction to others-reviewing work, maintaining standards, and supporting the development of less experienced consultants. This is a role that combines technical delivery with leadership, where you'll play a visible part in how projects are delivered and how the team continues to grow. YOUR IMPACT You'll help clients navigate an increasingly complex fire safety landscape, supporting them to understand their responsibilities, prioritise actions, and make informed decisions about risk in occupied buildings. Your work will directly contribute to safer environments and stronger client confidence. Internally, you'll raise standards across the team-mentoring consultants, improving consistency in delivery, and contributing to a high-performing, collaborative environment. At this level, your impact goes beyond delivery into leadership, quality, and long-term growth. ABOUT YOU Strong experience delivering fire risk assessments across a range of building types and risk profiles Confident reviewing technical outputs and providing clear direction to others Able to communicate complex fire safety issues in a practical, accessible way Comfortable advising clients on proportionate, risk-based solutions Experience supporting or mentoring junior consultants Interested in contributing to team development and maintaining high technical standards WHY JOIN US We put people first: We're proud of our friendly, inclusive and collaborative environment where everyone feels valued and driven to succeed.
