Role & Responsibilities:
* Provide support to students with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met.
* Assist in the delivery of tailored educational plans.
* Lead small group sessions covering a range of subject areas.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
* Ensure outstanding attendance and time-keeping records.
Requirements:
* An up to date enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or the willingness to obtain one.
* Eligibility to work in the UK is essential.
* Previous experience working with young people with challenging behaviour is essential.
* Strong understanding of various special educational needs, along with excellent communication, patience, and empathy.
* Ability to manage and positively respond to challenging behaviour.
