Wymondham Associates are working with a long-term client who is seeking to bring in an experienced Planner (Scheduler) from within the Main Contracting arena.
This leading contractor is seeking to strengthen its On-Site Delivery Team with the hire of an experienced Planner for involvement in a large new build project. The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate at least 5 years in a similar position on large scale construction projects; will have worked on commercial and industrial new build and fit out works and should be able to point to significant experience on major construction projects of more than 25,000 sq. ft. / $20 million+.
Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
The preparation of schedules on construction projects
Monitoring of schedule performance against baseline
The preparation of weekly and monthly reports.
The successful applicant will:
Be able to demonstrate experience with the use of Asta Powerproject or other similar planning software on multi-disciplinary construction projects.
Any professional designation or qualification will be positively viewed (Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Or Similar will be advantageous).
All successful applicants will be self-motivated individuals, will be good timekeepers and will have a flexible approach to work. They should have good communication and computer skills. A proven ability to work as part of a site-based project team, liaise with Owners, Design consultants, Subcontractors and Suppliers is a must.
The project is currently in preconstruction and will be looking to commence on site in February 2026, and the hiring process is commencing now in lieu of a work permit process.
