Are you looking for an opportunity to progress in store management? We’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our fashion store team in Bolton. The role is 21 hours per week, requiring full flexibility across 7 days, including weekends and bank holidays.
Responsibilities
* Support the Store Manager with the day‑to‑day running of the store and take full responsibility in their absence.
* Inspire and support staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer journey that reflects our values.
* Ensure the highest standard of customer service and achieve sales targets.
* Maintain a high standard of visual merchandising and maximise sales through physical and digital channels.
* Support the recruitment and development of volunteers.
* Assist with the generation of stock and participate in campaign activities.
* Work with the manager to generate stock and manage stock levels.
* Operate in a fast‑paced, 7‑day trade environment, working weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
* Perform physical tasks associated with the volume of collections, deliveries and donations, as required.
Qualifications
* Experience in a customer‑facing role.
* Supervisory experience.
* Commercially driven with the ability to encourage new ideas.
