The role of AWS FinOps Specialist sits within a growing cloud capability, focused on driving cost efficiency, optimisation, and value realisation across AWS environments. This is a strategic and hands-on position, working closely with architects, engineering teams, and senior stakeholders to embed FinOps principles and influence cloud adoption at scale.

What you need
* Experience applying FinOps principles to optimise cloud cost and efficiency in large-scale environments
* Strong knowledge of AWS services, pricing models, and cost management tooling
* Proven ability to influence cloud architecture decisions with cost considerations in mind
* Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and aligning cloud strategy to business objectives
* Ability to build business cases and present data-driven recommendations
* Strong communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences
* Eligibility for UK security clearance (must be a sole British national and willing to undergo DV clearance)
Desirable:
Experience within government, defence, or other regulated environments
Exposure to developing or shaping FinOps offerings or services
