We have an exciting and rare opportunity to join NHS Highland as the Care Home Manager at Seaforth House in Golspie. We are looking for a person who is committed to person centred care and providing a quality service to the clients of day care and residents of the home encompassing all their health and social care needs.
The Care Home Manager will ensure the delivery of high-quality care to service users and act as the Care Inspectorate Registered Manager.
The Manager will ensure the Care Home provides a safe and stimulating environment for service users and promotes dignity, respect and fulfilling of potential, in accordance with the National Care Standards.
Managing staff, ability to cope with a demanding work schedule and prioritise work accordingly as well as manage budgets are obviously a large part of the job and the Deputy Manager and shift leaders will provide support and work in tandem with the manager to service and protect residents.
The minimum qualification requirement is SVQ 4 Health and Social Care, but registration is also possible for those holding recognised teaching, social work, nursing and AHP qualifications, normally at degree level. Possession of SVQ Leadership and Management for Care Services (LMCS) Level 4 (or an equivalent management qualification or award) is also required for registration.
