1. Teach Music across KS3–KS5
2. Lead and develop the Music department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning
3. Plan and deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons
4. Organise and promote extracurricular music activities, performances, and events
5. Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise achievement
6. Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
7. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment
About You:
8. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
9. Experience teaching Music at secondary level
10. Previous leadership experience or readiness to step into a leadership role
11. Strong classroom management and organisational skills
12. Passionate about high-quality teaching and student achievement
13. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
