As a Store Manager, your role as a ‘shopkeeper’ means you run your own store with an entrepreneurial spirit, prioritising customers, colleagues, and local communities. You’ll lead your team to ensure the store is a great place to work and shop.
Responsibilities
* Lead a team to create a customer‑centric culture, aligned with Morrisons brand, constantly improving the customer experience.
* Drive commercial performance, treating the store as your own business and seeking continuous improvement of the offering.
* Manage all people activities, including recruitment, induction, training, development, and fostering an inclusive culture where every employee can deliver excellent customer service.
* Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and community partners.
* Adhere to operating hours that meet customer demand, which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends and flexible scheduling.
* Undergo and pass a required Post‑Office P250 check, including a financial check, before starting employment.
