You will drive the application of the Business Winning Methodology for the consortium bid on the Integrated Combat Rotary Wing Training (ICRWT) opportunity. The Bid Programme Director will lead this complex bid, ensuring high-quality outputs to maximize success. The role As Bid Programme Director, you’ll shape the success of a vital defence bid, delivering rotary wing training capabilities internationally. You will lead the ICRWT bid, collaborating with the Opportunity Lead and experts to design and execute a robust bid program from pre-qualification to post-submission, ensuring effective resourcing and success maximization. Lead and manage Babcock’s bidding process
using best practices—planning, milestones, meetings, and stakeholder engagement. Align Babcock’s bid activities
with the consortium Prime’s program, fostering cultural and procedural synergy. Collaborate across functions
to produce high-quality outputs linking value, solution, pricing, and deal structure. Act as primary escalation point
for bid team matters related to methodology and delivery, providing guidance. Establish and oversee the bid management organization
for efficient delivery and resource coordination. Drive strategic bid development
with win strategies, assessments, and differentiated value propositions. This is a full-time role, 40 hours/week, on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Location is flexible, but frequent UK and EU travel is required. Essential experience Proven track record in applying business winning methodologies across the bid lifecycle, especially within defence and consortium environments. Strong leadership and project management skills for leading large, multi-functional teams. Financial and commercial awareness, aligning value propositions with customer needs. Experience working internationally and collaboratively across partner locations. Qualifications Degree educated Security Clearance The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) clearance.
