Kent is seeking an experienced Document Controller to support a major/complex FEED project. The role involves managing all project documentation in accordance with the Contract, within budgeted hours and schedule, and in compliance with project standards. This is a 12-month position based at our Engineering office in Woking.
Scope of Work:
1. Upload and retrieve project documentation using the web-based system (Aconex).
2. Ensure documentation complies with management standards, including contractual numbering practices and electronic repository structure.
3. Develop, implement, and maintain project filing systems, logs, and registers.
4. Input daily project information into the system and produce accurate records.
5. Draft correspondence and project status reports for distribution.
6. Coordinate information exchange between PMT and disciplines.
7. Maintain organized Document Control, Vendor Document Control, Record Management, Library & Archive, and Construction/Site Office outputs.
8. Ensure documentation meets Contract, Project, and Client requirements.
9. Resolve document-related issues within the DCC or escalate as needed.
10. Submit deliverables to the client timely and in accordance with standards.
11. Maintain discipline and timekeeping standards within the DCC.
12. Complete additional tasks as specified in the contract.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Significant relevant industry experience.
* Experience delivering FEED and/or EPC phase Detailed Design projects in Oil and Gas, New Energy, or Renewable Industry.
* Preferably, a blend of FEED and EPC experience.
* Strong people management skills with empathy.
* Excellent client and stakeholder management skills, with a professional demeanor.
