Job Description

Role Summary

As a Multi-Asset Analyst / Associate, you will join a high performing and innovative Portfolio Management team within Wealth Management’s Chief Investment Office Team (Private Bank CIO Team). In this role, you will be part of a group that combines traditional fundamental and macro-driven investment analysis with rigorous risk management to drive investment decisions. You will collaborate closely with fundamental analysts and portfolio managers, monitor the trade processes, and contribute investment and portfolio construction ideas for implementation within multi-asset client portfolios.

Responsibilities

* Responsible for managing and running analysis to aid the portfolio management process. This includes supporting the team with risk and performance analysis, research assistance and vehicle selection.
* Use coding and data analysis skills to automate existing processes and improve operational efficiency.
* Create new and utilise existing tools to analyse model portfolios, financial markets and potential tactical investments.
* Contribute to the application of AI techniques to enhance investment research and portfolio management.
* Help manage the team's end-to-end trade processes and collaborate with internal partners across the firm including, but not limited to, fundamental research analysts, portfolio specialists, middle office and technology teams.

Key Skills and Experience Required

* A strong academic background with a university degree, ideally in Finance, Economics or similarly quantitative field (Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science etc.)
* 1-3 years’ of relevant experience, preferably on the buy-side or in investment management.
* Proficient programming skills (Python), including experience with data analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and working with APIs.
* Understanding and keen interest in financial markets, macroeconomics and multi-asset investing.
* Effective multi-tasking and prioritization capabilities.
* High-level interpersonal and teamwork skills.
* Strong analytical mindset with intellectual curiosity, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Experience

* Advanced degree and/or progress towards CFA designation.
* Experience designing and developing dashboards using python frameworks (e.g. Streamlit/Dash)
* In-depth knowledge of factor risk models (e.g. Bloomberg PORT, Axioma or equivalent)
