Bodyshop Manager Required in Dartford, Kent

* Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE
* Location: Dartford, Kent
* Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday with ad hoc Saturdays as needed

Key Responsibilities of a Bodyshop Manager:
* Oversee daily operations of the bodyshop to ensure smooth workflow and efficient service.
* Allocate work to technicians and ensure deadlines are met.
* Lead, motivate, and manage a team of technicians, estimators, and support staff.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities.
* Ensure exceptional customer service by managing customer expectations and resolving any issues promptly.
* Monitor and control budgetary expenditure, ensuring profitability.
* Manage invoicing, parts ordering, and cost control.
* Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
* Conduct regular audits and inspections of completed work.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop.
* Identify areas for improvement within bodyshop processes and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
* Build and maintain relationships with parts suppliers and service providers.
Our client is looking for someone with knowledge and experience already working in a busy Accident Repair Management environment and who can travel to Dartford for the long term.
